Co-founded by Ben Liu and Liz Cheung, Pushe Design looks to explore the possibilities of light in products and spaces. They see light as a substance and try to use modern techniques to present the subtle interaction between light and the form, material, and process of its carrier to create endless possibilities.
Located in Shanghai, Pushe Design Studio is an innovative and practice-oriented design studio. Pushe's designs wander between the rational and the sensual, finding a comfortable balance between various seemingly contradictory conflicts. They draw inspiration from daily life, personal experiences, environment, history, art, philosophy, and more. The designs are deeply rooted in contemporary culture, respecting the materials, functions, producers, and users involved, thus creating rational and emotional works.
Pushe Design Studio has exhibited its works at the Shenzhen Creative Week, Design Shanghai, and Greenhouse Stockholm + Salone del Mobile. The studio has also won a number of awards, including Red Dot, iF, and German Design Awards.
